  • Full Time MRI Technologist opening to support our Palmer and Anchorage clinic locations. Working 4 – 10 hour shifts each week, this position supports the MRI Team by rotating between the our locations in Anchorage and Palmer, Alaska. At Imaging Associates you’ll find a team of friendly and experienced MRI technologists leveraging the latest technology including Siemens 1.5 and 3T MRI, GE 1.5T MRI and the only Hitachi High Field Open MRI in the State of Alaska. Alaska Radiology Associates’ board-certified radiologists are trained at top radiology residency programs, including Stanford, Duke, Harvard, Brown, University of Virginia, University of Washington, University of Michigan, UAB and Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. They are the only Alaskan radiology group having radiologists with dedicated fellowship training in every major imaging sub-specialty, including interventional radiology (IR), neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, women’s imaging, body imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, pediatric radiology and nuclear medicine. Responsibilities include: Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients Operating MRI equipment to provide clear and accurate MRI images to physican for use in medical diagnosis Maintaining records that include patient information, MRI images, files of correspondence, and other related documents/reports Requirements Experience : Preferred experience with Hitachi/Siemens/GE equipment. Certifications : Must be certified by A.R.R.T. in Radiography, have have ARRT Advanced Level certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and have BLS – Basic Life Support certification.
