Alaska Radiology Associates’ board-certified radiologists are trained at top radiology residency programs, including Stanford, Duke, Harvard, Brown, University of Virginia, University of Washington, University of Michigan, UAB and Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. They are the only Alaskan radiology group having radiologists with dedicated fellowship training in every major imaging sub-specialty, including interventional radiology (IR), neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, women’s imaging, body imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, pediatric radiology and nuclear medicine. Relocation bonus may be paid to candidates hired from outside of Alaska Studies performed at Imaging Associates include General, Vascular, OB/GYN, Small Parts, and Breast. Work closely with our breast imaging team who leverage 3D mammography (Breast Tomography), breast MRI, ultrasound, and breast biopsy. In addition, we are a full-service vascular lab and perform the following studies and transplant evaluations: Direct testing (duplex imaging) Carotid Duplex, extracranial Arterial – Lower extremity Duplex, native or graft Venous – Duplex, upper or lower extremity Venous – Duplex, IVC & Iliac Abdominal – Aorta/Iliac native artery or graft duplex Abdominal – AAA stent graft assessment Abdominal – Mesenteric arterial duplex Abdominal – Renal Parenchyma and arterial duplex AAA screening – Patients must meet criteria of SAAAVE Act Indirect testing (non-imaging) Arterial – Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) with waveforms Arterial – Segmental pressures and waveforms (P&Ws), upper or lower extremity Arterial – TOS assessment (thoracic outlet syndrome) Pressures & arterial waveforms (P&Ws), with maneuvers Responsibilities include: Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients Providing sonograms and oral or written summaries of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis Operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of motion, shape and composition of blood, organs, tissues, or masses such as fluid accumulations Maintaining records that include patient information, sonographs, and interpretations, files of correspondence, and other related documents/reports. Requirements: ARDMS registered, RVT and Breast preferred, or the ability to become registered within 6 months of hire Current BLS 1+ years of experience, post education, required. 3 years desired.
